There are at many types of discrimination out there. They range from age, gender, religion, and many others. on here I have gone in to explain what some of the more common ones are and some rights people have to prevent these in the work place and such. We all just need to remember that everyone is different in some way shape or form so we should be accepting of everyone.
On Thursday, Caleb and I went to learn some stuff about the history of Japan. Adam Stanley talked about this man who had very little money that was shipwrecked while trying to make money for his family. This man was Manjiro. He ended up being rescued and brought to America where he was able to receive a formal education. He brought his knowledge back to japan and ended up helping Japan to initially get along with the US. He had many adventures in his life and if you would like to learn more about this just stop by my room.

Scott Blakeman and Dean Obeidallah want to build bridges, promote tolerance and encourage conflict resolution between Jews, Muslims, Arabs and people of all backgrounds and religions. Standup for Peace is the disarmingly funny comedy show that breaks new ground by finding common ground. The show was great with a lot of laughs, and also made some excellent points about inclusion and acceptance for all people.
